Liu Mingyan returns this kiss with just as much enthusiasm, arching up, a little, into Janet's weight, and letting her lips part to entice Janet's tongue. She is playing into a helplessness, a subservience, primarily because it is so novel, to be physically overpowered this way. It's exciting; a game, unthreatening because she and Janet both know the power she has over Liu Mingyan is halfway granted as well as won.
